Do you accept insurance?

To best support your unique needs, we operate as an out-of-network provider, allowing us to focus entirely on your care without the limitations often set by insurance companies. We are happy to provide you with a monthly superbill, which contains all the necessary information for you to submit to your insurance provider and seek potential reimbursement. We recommend contacting your insurance company directly to inquire about your out-of-network benefits.

Can I pay cash for session?

You may pay for your sessions with either cash or a credit/debit card. If paying with cash, we will collect payment at the beginning of your session. For card payments, we will keep your card securely on file and charge it the morning of your scheduled appointment.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require at least 24 hours' notice for all cancellations. This policy is in place to respect the time of your provider and to ensure that we can offer the appointment to another client in need. If a session is canceled with less than 24 hours' notice or if you do not show up for your appointment, you will be charged the full session fee. We understand that emergencies happen, and we are willing to offer a one-time waiver of this fee for a late cancellation due to a genuine emergency, provided you call us to cancel.

What is a temporary license? Does this mean you are less qualified?

A temporary license in Kansas means a therapist has completed their master’s degree and all required clinical coursework and practicums, but is practicing while taking the final administrative steps to finalize their permanent license—such as passing the national board exam. It does not mean a therapist is less qualified; it simply reflects that they are in a supervised transition period. In fact, practicing under a temporary license means your care gets an extra layer of oversight, as every client case is regularly reviewed alongside a fully licensed, highly experienced supervisor.
